Modern Monsters 7-film Collection (DVD) (2014 - 2021)
Godzilla This spectacular adventure pits Godzilla, the world’s most famous monster, against malevolent creatures that, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Godzilla: King of the Monsters When ancient god-sized monsters rise again, the crypto-zoological agency Monarch faces Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah as they all vie for supremacy. Godzilla vs. Kong Legends collide as Godzilla and Kong, the two most powerful forces of nature, clash in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into fantastic uncharted terrain, unearthing clues to the Titans’ very origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the Earth forever. Kong: Skull Island When a scientific expedition to an uncharted island awakens titanic forces of nature, a mission of discovery becomes an explosive war between monster and man. Rampage Primatologist Davis (Dwayne Johnson) shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent silverback gorilla who has been in his care since he was young. When a greed-fueled corporation’s genetic experiment goes awry, George and other animals across the country are mutated into aggressive super-creatures who destroy everything in their path. In this adrenaline-filled ride, Davis tries to find an antidote, not only to halt a global catastrophe but also to save the fearsome creature who was once his friend. The Meg When a massive creature attacks a submersible, the crew becomes trapped at the bottom of the Pacific’s deepest trench. To save them from the clutches of the Megalodon – a prehistoric 75-foot shark once believed to be extinct – a visionary oceanographer (Winston Chao) recruits expert rescue diver Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham). Teamed with the oceanographer’s daughter, Suyin (Li Bingbing), Taylor must try to outwit the greatest predator alive...a killer he’s faced once before. Pacific Rim When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenceless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. |
